Once upon a time I thought it sounded like a good idea to join in on a fun new tradition called Elf on the Shelf….oh, how naive I was back then! This “fun tradition” has since become the bane of my December existence.
But the kids love it. SO MUCH……ugh. So each year our elf returns to torment me. Leaving me scratching my head for a new clever place to put him, stirring me from my sleep when I realize I forgot to move him, and coming up with lies as to why he is still in the same spot as he was the day before. Oh so many lies!!
Well, after our elf showed up late for the second year in a row this year (Due to me not being able to find the dang thing!), I decided it was about time I get my step up my game a little bit and come up with some ideas for where to put our elf. I’ll be honest, up to this point my creativity is been sub-par at best.
